Useful Stuff to Know:
BOOKING STRONGLY RECOMMENDED - we are open all year round & get very busy during holiday periods. During the winter we only operate on certain days. Our sessions start at various times during the day - so call /email us to check availability & start times...you can soon get yourself on the world famous Ropeworks booking board! We accept bookings for weeks or months ahead - particularly useful if you are arranging a group visit.
UNDER 18's - do not need to be accompanied by an adult. This is because one of our Instructors will be there throughout your Ropeworks session. They will guide & instruct as much or as little as you want - always making sure that you get the very best from your Ropeworks experience.
CLOTHING - you do not need any special type of clothing ...just wear the sort of stuff you'd mess around or play in outside. The important thing is to make sure you've got sensible footwear - trainers or walking shoes/boots are ideal but anything that covers your toes & will stay on your feet is fine. Remember, Ropeworks is tons of fun whatever the weather, so make sure you're warm & having a waterproof with you can be useful! (we have some spares if you do forget).
PHOTOGRAPHY - definitely bring your camera...make sure it has a wrist strap. The classic shot has to be mid-flight 'leap of faith' & there are loads of other exciting photo opportunities. One of your fellow group members or your Instructor can capture 'that' moment for you when you're leaping/climbing/balancing/zipping etc.etc.
SAFETY - Ropeworks is an ERCA member (European Ropes Course Association). This means that our course has been built and is run to the highest benchmark standards set for across Europe. Refer to the ERCA website or contact us if you require additional information.
